The journal is devoted to the development of the science of tribology and its applications, particularly focusing on publishing high-quality papers at the forefront of tribological science and that address the fundamentals of friction, lubrication, wear, or adhesion.

Wear    (SCI)    (impact factor 2.531) – a highly reputed international journal on the science and technology of friction, lubrication and wear. Wear journal is dedicated to the advancement of basic and applied knowledge concerning the nature of wear of materials. Broadly, topics of interest range from development of fundamental understanding of the mechanisms of wear to innovative solutions to practical engineering problems.

Journal of Tribology  (SCI) (impact factor 1.521) – highly reputed journal, features a mix of experimental, numerical, and theoretical articles dealing with all aspects of the field. In addition to being of interest to engineers and other scientists doing research in the field, the Journal is also of great importance to engineers who design or use mechanical components such as bearings, gears, seals, magnetic recording heads and disks, or prosthetic joints, or who are involved with manufacturing processes.

Tribology Transactions    (SCI) (formerly known as ASLE transactions) – contains experimental and theoretical papers on friction, wear, lubricants, lubrication, materials, machines and moving components, from the macro- to the nano-scale. The papers will be of interest to academic, industrial and government researchers and technologists.

Lubrication Science    (TRIBOTEST)(SCI)    is devoted to high-quality research which notably advances fundamental and applied aspects of the science and technology related to lubrication. It publishes research articles, short communications and reviews which demonstrate novelty and cutting edge science in the field, aiming to become a key specialized venue for communicating advances in lubrication research and development.

Applied Surface Science      (SCI) - Applied Surface Science covers topics contributing to a better understanding of surfaces, interfaces, nanostructures and their applications. The journal is concerned with scientific research on the atomic and molecular level of material properties determined with specific surface analytical techniques.

Surfaces and Interfaces Science    (SCI) - The aim of the journal is to provide a respectful outlet for 'sound science' papers in all research areas on surfaces and interfaces. We define sound science papers as papers that describe new and well-executed research, but that do not necessarily provide brand new insights or are merely a description.

Journal of Engineering Tribology    (SCI-Exp) (Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part J: Journal of Engineering Tribology)      (impact factor 1.320) – publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed papers from academia and industry worldwide on the engineering science associated with tribology and its application to machine elements.

Journal of Friction and Wear    (SCI-Exp)      Frontiers in Mechanical Engineering, Tribology section  -                                        a fully open access journal, topics of Tribology include in particular: fundamentals  of the physics of friction, lubrication, wear, surface and interface layers, interplay of friction and vibrations, advanced materials including functional, active and graded materials, measurement and manipulation at micro- and nanoscale, numerical simulation methods in contact mechanics and tribology, applications in mechanical engineering, transport systems, aerospace engineering, biological sciences, medicine, geo tribology, etc.

Journal of the Balkan Tribological Association  (SCI-EXP): Wear of contact surfaces is one of the most common causes of gear failure. In addition to physical and chemical processes that occur in the contact zone, kinematicmeshing parameters have a great effect on the wear process.

Industrial Lubrication and Tribology  (SCI-Exp.):  Industrial Lubrication and Tribology provides a broad coverage of the materials and techniques employed in tribology. It contains a firm technical news element which brings together and promotes best practice in the three disciplines of tribology, which comprise lubrication, wear and friction.

Journal of Bio- and Tribo- Corrosion      publishes papers in all aspects of tribo-corrosion, ranging from biological environments to green energy technologies to bio-degradable metals and polymer composites.

Friction and Wear Research    (FWR)    is a highly reputed, Open Access, peer-reviewed international journal for the publication of theoretical and experimental research works related to the friction, lubrication and wear.

Advances in Tribology  Advances in Tribology is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles on the science of friction, wear, and lubrication.

Friction  (SCI)(impact factor 2,897) – is a single-blind peer-reviewed open access journal published under the SpringerOpen brand for the publication of theoretical and experimental research works related to the friction, lubrication and wear. Original, high quality research papers and review articles on all aspects of tribology are welcome, including, but are not limited to, a variety of topics.

Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers  (SCI) (impact factor 1.137) The Journal of Engineering Tribology publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed papers from academia and industry worldwide on the engineering science associated with tribology and its application to machine elements. This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)

Tribology &   Lubrication Technology    (SCI) - is the official monthly publication of STLE and was created to aid in the technical education and professional development of STLE members and industry colleagues. Through its print and digital editions, TLT delivers world-class technical content to some 13,000 lubricant professionals each month. Each issue includes feature articles, best practice analyses, industry surveys, interviews with leading lubrication professionals, emerging-technology reports, lubrication fundamentals and much more.  For general inquiries or article submissions.

Frontiers in Mechanical Engineering: Tribology(SCI) Frontiers in Mechanical Engineering’s specialty section Tribology aims to cover a broad and interdisciplinary spectrum of topics connected with mechanics and physics of interfaces in natural, technical and biological systems. The goal of Tribology is to facilitate and to convey a consistent view of tribological processes across the scales and disciplines. As a section of Frontiers in Mechanical Engineering, Tribology provides collaborative peer review, rapid Open Access publication and high impact, as well as networking and post publication activities.

Lubricants(SCI) Lubricants publishes regular research papers, reviews, letters and communications covering all aspects of tribology, including the study and application of the principles of friction, lubrication and wear. The aim is to encourage scientists to publish experimental, theoretical and computational results that provide new insight and understanding into the scientific and technical basis for lubrication and related phenomenon. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced.
